FE Constellations: Our launch fortnight

From Good Intentions to Actionable Ideas!

FE Constellations is brought to you by Further Education’s changemakers Joss Kang and Lou Mycroft. We’ve worked together on national cutting edge projects (including #APConnect⭐️ and #JoyFE💛) for a number of years now and we’ve had front-row seats to huge changes in professional development. Building on a wealth of research, we’re now articulating a bigger purpose: to design and build sustainable architectures for FE so that individuals and organisations, wherever they are on their journey, can flourish. This bigger purpose serves changemakers from different areas: the nhs: primary, secondary, universities but for now we are launching to Further Education and Training. It’s the community we know and love.

Both Lou and I have spent our careers in Further Education operating as changemakers. We are thrilled to bring you FE Constellations.

 

FE Constellations – what is it?

FE Constellations is accessed via a monthly or one off annual subscription which opens the virtual front door to a protected online membership community that’s research-informed and freshly designed for Connection, Collaboration, Co-creation and Celebration. You can access FE Constellations via an app on your phone or device; any time, any place, any space. We’ve learnt this real-time, at times messy, easy to access element is valued by changemakers; saving time, bringing collective know-how to the fore and energising us all.

Build relationships, exchange know-how, workshop your ideas, let off steam and have fun. You’ll learn how to figure out your own big purpose, test out ideas, design projects and you’ll look at change leadership from different perspectives.

Think agency, motivation, potentia: sustainable and future-facing.

Imagine new paradigms of professional development where organisations trust their people to engage in self-directed, peer-led professional learning via porous spaces, bringing the outside in and the inside out.

Think coming together with practitioners from across the world to implement research-informed ideas.

FE Constellations is live and open for business. We are running three 20-minute livestreams as part of our launch fortnight. Each tells the story of our underpinning values of seva, community and potentia.
