#APConnect Northstar Train the Trainers in Advanced Practice
touchconsulting Ltd is delivering this programme on behalf of the Education and Training Foundation.
The #APConnect Northstar Train the Trainers in Advanced Practice pathway is now open for applications. We will offer up to 25 fully subsidised places to those operating in AP-type roles.

Application details
Participants will be selected on to the #APConnect Northstar Train the Trainers Programme. They will be experienced APs with influence within the organisation and a remit to support and develop an AP team. This programme is designed for experienced APs who are (ideally) graduates of the #APConnect Programme. Advanced Teacher Status is not an entry requirement but it is desirable. Due to limited resources we can only accept one application per organisation. For multiple applications please contact joss@touchconsulting.net
Participants must commit to:
- participating in Northstar professional development: PD1, PD2 & PD3 (face-to-face and online)
- PD1 0.5 asynchronous, initial study
- PD2 full day face-to-face in central Birmingham; either 26 Wed January or 2 Wed February 2022
- PD3 Thu 10 February 2022, 10-3.50pm via Zoom
- accessing mentoring support
- training/supporting/developing 3-4 other APs in their workplace/ networks
- submitting one summative impact story from their Northstar experience.
All activity will need to be completed by 25 March 2022.
Joining instructions & further guidance will be provided once your application has been approved. This includes social distancing guidelines for the face-to-face PD2 event.
