#APDigital Research – Thriving in Uncertain Times

How has the last year gone for you? We’ve spent the past couple of months asking APs about that through our #APDigital survey and Thinking Environment ‘Spotlight’ sessions.

We have learned so much – about trust, relationships, communication, digital, leadership and so much more. To celebrate and launch the findings we’d like to invite you to our #APConnect and #FEReseachMeet mash-up event on 21st May 2021, where we present practical and ethical lessons from the pandemic. What enabled thriving? And what drained our energy, causing us merely to survive?

Funded by the Education and Training Foundation, this special #FEResearchMeet explores how the #APDigital research team set about finding pandemic stories we can all learn from. The event is hosted by Jo Fletcher-Saxon and Alistair Smith of the hugely popular #FEResearchPodcast series.

Join our conversations on Friday 21 May from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm as we celebrate the experiences of those operating in AP-type roles during the pandemic. The team will also tell our mixed-methods research story exploring why and how we collected and analysed data across the different phases:

Phase 1: devised a structured, largely closed questionnaire which drew in 134 responses

Phase 2: carried out  ‘spotlight’ group interviews with AP teams from across the sector; transcribed and coded with interview questions shaped by phase 1 emerging themes

Phase 3: sharing our findings of both AP pandemic stories & our research story
