#APConnect Northstar Train the Trainers in Advanced Practice – cohort 2 now open!
Once upon a time, in a universe not so different to the one we know, a star appeared in the winter sky. It shone bright, sprinkling stardust, creating pathways to new thoughts. An enlightened community-of-practice that would guide and support myriads of nebula to colonise new worlds. This Northstar, twinkled, drawing to it beams of light that would traverse far and wide. Collecting ideas, thoughts and experiences, bringing them together to share with others.
All those they touch become part of the same shared-knowledge and are gifted to co-create, bespoke opportunities to widen-participation, influencing new spheres to empower and sustain. The starlet’s create hives that hum, grow bright and cross-pollinate. Deepening identities, promoting intersectional accessibility, raising awareness of dimensions of difference with dazzling effect. A promise to become reality. To pause, think, collaborate, construct and co-evaluate. To generate and spread homogenised ideas to shine across the void. Imparting courage to influence and craft practice in FE and Training…now and forever. Attracting narratives that co-create experiential stories which grow to become legend. A knowledge-exchange to ‘boldly go where no-one has gone before’, explore new frontiers, refresh and energise the joy of Ideas Rooms and Thinking Environment processes to illuminate our worlds. In the oneness of my being, which is whole and yet divided into equal-parts of amity and externality within AP-kind. Upon this Northstar a wish, to become the stardust that facilitates the switching on of lights as part of our destiny…FE-Fulfilled. #APConnect-ed. Practitioner-led. Influencing and facilitating hope within our futures.
Beautiful words by Bridget Bircumshaw
The team at touchconsulting Ltd is delighted to launch the penultimate pathway of the Education and Training Foundation’s #APConnect year 4 programme: the Northstar Train the Trainers in Advanced Practice pathway! This exciting, fresh and cutting-edge opportunity is now open for a second cohort of experienced Advanced Practitioners. We have another 8 fully subsidised places available to those operating in AP-type roles. This includes our first venture into face-to-face training after 20 months! Eeek!
